I have PKD, diagnosed 10 yrs ago, I am 47 and have been vaping medical weed for 2 years to help with my nausea, appetite, pain and sleep. I hated the side effects of chemicals and find it helps me. I am from canada so its nice it is more widely accepted now, but I still feel like a bit of a pothead some days...

Anyone using medical cannabis to treat stage 5 symptoms?
I do. I use it for sleep and CBD for inflammation. Seems to work well. Not sure that vaping is the best way to take it though... Have you tried eating it? Last long that way too...
Yes I do try to find edibles that I can stand the taste of, most I have been able try are gross or filled with a ton of sugar.
Hi Tdubbs,
Here it is still illegal or very difficult to obtain medically. We do have CBD oil all over the place. I use that at night for inflammation and sleep and it does help. You have to be careful with CBD oil as there is a lot of junk out there. I also agree that vaping is not good.
I have had pd for almost 10 years now and I've been using medical marihuana for ay least 8 years. My neurologist recommended it for nausea, I have to say it helps with pain and also helps me relax so I can stretch my muscles. Its not legal in Texas but I have learned to grow my own in my back room. I've also learned to make the cannibutter so I can ingest it instead of smoking.
