Hi everyone, I thank all of you for your good advice. I finally got a second opinion and a renal dietician, they allowed me to eat fish and chicken 2 to 3 times a week with limited portions. I found it extremely weird that I felt 10x worse after seeing my old doctor. I had non stop headaches, leg pain was depressed and was always hungry . Now that I had some fish for lunch I feel better after being on almost no protein and no sodium . For the first time in 2 weeks I have energy, and my new doctor found out that my vitamin D was very low. Also my creatinine went down from 6.1 to 4. 5 in 2 weeks . So depression has subsided a little. Thank you everyone who looked out for me

Also congrats on changing docs. Sometimes a second opinion can make all of the difference.
My first cardiologist suggested arthritis for the numbness in my feet; the new one referred me to a neurologist where the diag. came back periphereal neuropathy and lead to a pre-diab. test result as well. One switch, big difference in my health journey.
So glad you are feeling better! Thank you for sharing your good news!
That is good news. Pleased for you.
Glad to hear you've found a competent doctor. Without meat protein you will have lower energy do to the absence of B12. You can use an OTC B12 supplement if you are planning on eliminating meat from your diet in the future. I believe you should also get a minimum of 500mg of sodium per day since it is a necessary electrolyte for your body to function properly. I hope you continue to improve.
