Congratulations on your getting back to your normal. It can try a person's spirit. Let us know how it goes with your new physicians. Building a Care Team that will work with you is so critical. I'm not sure if I mentioned this to you before but when I'm in a physician's office and they are suggesting a new medication, I take out my phone and using the app for drugs.com I look up the med and ask questions about it before I leave the office. Had I known about Drugs.com back in 2015, I might not have taken the lisinopril and spent a day in the ER.
Again, glad to hear you are on the mend. Take care of yourself.
Yes. It is very good to have everyone's support. What I have found out so far:
(1) from ER visit 9,/7: medication probably caused urine retention that caused infection
Dischsrged with 5 days of antibiotics
(2) from CentraCare visit 9/13: infection gone. But, all symptoms including lab work now suggests anemia. Discharged with advice to start eating which i had already done. I could also come back for more evaluation if i still feel sick before I see my primary l.
Two days of eating has improved my situation considerably. I had not eaten for days.
Thank goodness for the caring ER and CentaCare doctors for taking the time to try to find out what happened.
So glad you are doing better! Sorry you had to go through all of this. I know I learned the hard way also, about being your own advocate and I now have a great care team.
