Iron Infusion (Venofer) and Ricormon - to raise hemoglobin level (for Anemia)- Can they damage the kidney function?

I read a lot of articles to see why my kidney functions which were poor for that past years (about 4) deteriorated (to 5.5).

I read that Venofer for treating anemia (now hemoglobin 10.5 following many treatment) can harm the kidney. I am also taking weekly Recormon for raising the hemoglobin. Anyone has any similar experience?
