What do you do to take a break and relax? What hobbies do you have that help you feel good and have fun?

Hobbies
I crochet. And if really helps relax me and zone out. I also do adult coloring.
I do yoga. Walking also helps. I also read.
In the summer, I garden. Nothing like planting and tending to the earth to feel good. I work a lot with herbs. Other activities I enjoy are reading, painting ceramics, and lately cooking. I am especially working on learning how to cook and bake for CKD. I also write and have had several blogs. I also meditate.
I paint, love jigsaw puzzles(actually puzzles if any kind), play piano, play with my dogs, gardening and yard work.
I also love to garden in the summer. I grow vegies, herbs and flowers. I am also a reader and love to try out a new recipe for dinner. When the weather is good I love walking in my neighborhood and in the mountains. The Rocky's with their many trails and spotting wildlife is true FUN.
I spend a lot of time watching tv while receiving dialysis treatments. I also joined Netflix and have discovered many good programs/films. I also crochet a pattern that has simple instructions and repeats the same stitch over and over. Reading (nothing too deep) checkout periodicals are mindless fun and most have good puzzles. I listen to music (Motown helps the time fly). Mosaic coloring books for adults are very time consuming but you end up with a great picture in the end. One of my dialysis partners addresses invitations for weddings, baby showers, etc. Some people also clip coupons and one gentleman shells nuts (pecans).
In the end dialysis is awful, lonely and I hate it. I am waiting for a transplant. Until then I hope you can use some of my activities to keep yourself distracted. Wishing you peace. 🌷
If I'm indoors I do yoga, but I really, really enjoy watching stand-up comedy and on the internet.
Also, I like to look up old shows or other performances that used to make me laugh.
I am always amazed at what is out there. Videos of "old" 60's and 70's TV dance shows put me on the floor! (I'm 51, btw).
I'm an author. I write Christian Historical Westerns. Have 40 up on Amazon. That's my relaxation as well as reading.
The problem is...I'm not getting enough exercise.
I write for my blog.
