I am 76 and diagnosed at ckd 3. My Doctor put me on a renal diet that was appropriate for me. It is a 7 page diet that lists food amounts. Perhaps your Doctor can give you such a list appropriate for you, From this diet list you can use web site such as Davita to further your menu possibilities.

Absolutely! You could also see a dietician as well.

Watch your sodium, dairy, no red meat or cold cuts, canned soups or frozen entrees. Fresh or fresh frozen vegetables, chicken, fish, eggs. Fresh fruits as apples, strawberries and blueberries should give you a start.
