Has anyone had issues with recurrent kidney infections and UTI’s after having a kidney stent? What was the cause/outcome

Couldn't find a specific answer to your question but I located an article that does somewhat address the issue. It's a lengthy article and it does address the use of stents about 3/4 of the way through the article.

Unfortunately, I haven't, but know that UTI"s are annoying, forget reoccurring ones

I would give the doctor who put the stent in a call; question them and ask for a suggestion as to prevent this from re-occurring. It may be as simple as cranberry juice but make them aware.

Unfortunately, I haven't had any issues with UTI’s but I’ve heard it annoying and nerve wracking. I recommend that you inform your Kidney doctor of the issue and how often it keeps reoccurring. Also, keep your primary care physician in the loop. Maybe they can work together to find solution. I pray you get to feeling better soon.

If you've never had an appointment with a Urologist I would suggest you try to obtain one and see if they can assist you. That is their area of expertise.
