CKD and Fatigue

I am CKD 4 (eGFR of 27). Right ureter and kidney removed July 2016 due to TCC (transitional cell carcinoma) linked to bladder cancer (cystectomy performed in February 2015). I am being very careful to adhere to a renal diet, plus I take VALTESSA (potassium binder). I perform aerobic exercise for 45 minutes, 5 -6 days a week. The only symptom I feel is end-of-day fatigue. Before kidney removal, I would go to sleep (after reading) around 11 PM. Up at 7 AM. I'm still up at 7:00, but fade quickly after 9 PM. I'm asleep by 9:30 PM. Have others with Stage 4 CKD experienced what I am? Oh, and I will be 78 in a few months, and I am a male (if that makes any difference). Thanks!

I too feel fatigue but earlier than you, in the late afternoon. I'm also cold when no one else is. I'm ckd 3. I play pickleball 3x a week for 3 hours.

Hello! I've had chronic fatigue since I was in mid stage 3 CKD, I'm in stage 4 now. I usually find myself needing naps in the afternoon around 1-2pm so I can function properly for the rest of my day. It usually varies when I wake up ( depends on when my classes are since I am in college...probably between 7-9am) but I try to go to bed around 10pm every night so I don't take my medication at different times. I exercise 3-4 times a week by going on walks and I also use a rowing machine for 45 minutes or so.
