Hi, I am new, 82, male, eGFR 40, ACR 23 mg/mmol, K 5.1, mild anemia, slight edema at ankles, glucose intolerance diagnosed in 1974, DM medicated since 2000, HbA1C 42 mmol/mol, hypothyroidism successfully and stably medicated since 1989, essential hypertension under tight control with candesartan and amlodipin since less than a year ago, cause of CKD undiagnosed so far. Still feeling fine, no pains or discomforts y e t. Looking forward to being here.

I am male 75 CKD level 3 when diagnosed little over a year ago. . So far stabilized with diet and exercise. I too have similar symptoms as you and being tested for possible thyroid issues. Am glad for the health I do have. Goal is to avoid dialysis as long as can. My cause of CKD is organic, and have no hypertension.
