I have suffered with thyroid cancer and no longer have a thyroid. Need to loose by weight badly as I'm not comfortable with myself and tired all the time. Could anyone suggest how many calories I should be eating or recommend a diet that's suitable for myself

I've got thyroid issues and can't loose the weight I've put on
Have a look at the NHS 12 week plan here:
nhs.uk/Livewell/weight-loss...
And also the pages on the nhs site. The basics of the plan are a daily calorie limit 1400 for women and 1900 for men, plus a target of 150 minutes aerobic exercise a week.
There have been several other users with thyroid problems recently on the questions section. Maybe have a look through their posts and you could contact them to see if any of the advice they have been given works.
Also see your doctor about your weight loss, as you have a medical reason that could be stopping you losing as much weight as you would like.
My sister in law had to have her thyroid removed as well, and she too gained a bit of weight shortly afterwards. Her doctors had to get the right level of hormone replacement before any of her hard work with diet and exercise paid off and she lost the weight.
Once you have the proper levels of hormones in your system it should become easier to shift the excess weight. Definitely talk to your doctor.
