Hi guys,

I was here a week and then vanished - sorry about that.

I had some health problems come up, including a fall during exercising that resulted in a leg/hip injury that meant I couldn't move around much and couldn't stand for too long - walking from room to room became a real difficulty for a while. This was then made worse by an unrelated infection and I have only just come off the antibiotics.

Although my injury is much better (although not totally fixed) my weight has skyrocketed, my overall health both mentally and physically is declining. I am miserable.

I woke up this morning and cried because I know I weigh more now than when I started and I am reaching a point where I am generally concerned of the long term impact.

I need help, I'm trying to get back on the NHS plan today and I need some encouragement.

I also need a gentle exercise plan now that my injury is almost completely healed (it was muscular for the most part, infection was something else). Even just a gentle stretches routine would be really helpful - when I look on youtube I get overwhelmed with what to do and where to start.

Does anyone have any recommendations for simple routines that worked for them?

I think with all that you're going through, we'd all have trouble staying positive. Well done for coming back here and letting it all out.

You used the Weigh-ins before so I'd suggest that you get straight back into that.

The other very helpful event here is the Daily Diary. Whatever your reason for not using it last time, why not have a read of today's one healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... and when admins unlock tomorrow's one, join in with that ... healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
