Hi, I know what you mean. I’ve been going through a rough time too. No motivation. My time table doesn’t help with exercise either. However, I find you have to start inside. Have you tried EFT? There are a lot of clips on YouTube. You tap on acupuncture points to release bad feelings and believes. Jessica Ortner is very good but you might find your favourites.

Hi Celia90 - have you looked at LCHF diet? I have found it has given me more energy, my energy slumps were probably due to carbs - sugar spikes and dips. Might be worth a try? I’ve combined this with 16:8 fasting and 12 pounds down in 5 weeks so it’s working! And I’m not hungry or tired. Good luck!

You sound just like me . It’s so difficult . I’ve managed to lose 3 pounds , which I never thought possible and the support really helps . Just take it a day at a time and ask for support when you need it most . All the best Celia 90

Hi Celia - menopause hit me hard last year. I've resisted HRT so far but instead went to visit a BANTS registered nutritionist who has helped me to address a whole host of deficiencies and has left me feeling a whole lot better. Iron and B vitamin levels were identified as low for me - and both are implicated in tiredness and low energy levels. I always thought that taking a good multi was insurance against deficiencies - only to discover they don't work like that.

I echo Red Unicorn and Concerned with their dietary advice above - if you can reduce your processed carbs and sugar intake this will help too. Keeping a food diary helps to keep me accountable and more aware of what I'm choosing to eat. This forum is packed full of great advice - I hope you manage to spend some time here and pick up some useful information to help you find a way of eating that works for you - good luck x

Hi there. nice to meet you..... I’m David btw... First thing.... don’t stress. Second, what’s your goal? Third, let’s chat about how you can get there.... ;-). Whatever your goal, you can do this. Just set yourself a very specific goal... eg. this week I want to lose 3lbs.... then you need to think about what you can do differently this week to reach that goal. So it could be going for a 20 minute walk either in the morning or lunch or evening 2x this week...it could also include thinking about eating slightly differently, even if just for a couple of days in the first week... then increasing that to 3 days next week..:: that’s what I did... take small steps to change a few things... the following week, take a few more steps to change things... before you know it, you will start to see the good news of the weighing scales. It will take time, but first start to change some things and do things a little differently from the week before.... step by step you can do this.
