Hi Folks, joined a few weeks ago, have downloaded NHS Diet plan, doing very minor changes in eating habits just now but keep putting off actually starting a plan and proper diet.. The fact I am on here I know I will get there, just need a 'kick start'.

If the reason your putting off your plan is because your not sure where to start then have a look at the Daily Diary. That will give you lots of ideas on what kind of meals to have and pick up a few tips while your reading what others are having. You can do this.
Why not make the first step by joining today weigh in? You can find it in the Events section.
For whatever reason you feel you are not ready. You can do this if you think or I will miss your favourite food or drinks once you start. It does not work that way. No food or drinks are off limits as long as you stay under your calories. Good luck get your head and body ready and enjoy the journey 😀
Get yourself an online calorie counter and promise yourself you will fill it in every day with a log of all you eat and drink. It really does work, I promise. Look at "myfitnesspal" or "nutracheck". I expect there are others too.
Also, look at the people around you next time you have lunch out - I find that a great motivator! There are so many slow-moving large people with red faces and bulging veins....and slim, bouncy, beautiful people, enjoying their lives. Which do you want to be....?
