Day 25

Well I'm getting worried now as I keep posting that I had a bad ish day the day before and did again on day 24 I keep saying life happens and it does but I also have to take control of what I do but I seem to be losing it which seems to be a regular pattern with me I really want to lose this weight and want to be rid of it forever. I'm fine all day then blow it in the evenings even though I have asked hubby not to bring in the huge bags of crisps he still does it perhaps what I need to do is put them in the bin when they come in that way it will make him think. Let me start by taking control back from today. Hope everyone has a good day today x x -:(

Don't lose heart. It is a hard road we are sharing and it can be a bumpy ride. Yes, life happens, so enjoy it, but keep your eye on the prize. As for the crisps your husband buys, would it work if you opened the pack, put some in a dish for him, put the rest out of sight, and distracted yourself with, e.g., some grapes - or painting your nails? Easier said than done, but it might work. 😉😎❤️

The fact is that you are bothered and you haven't given up. Sending you some willpower in a fancy Christmas bag. It was a buy one get one free offer so I have kept one for me too!! Xx

The evenings are hard. Could you make yourself some snacks that you and hubby could share. Spiced nuts? Then you are in charge of portion control

Hi Thanks for your response. Unfortunately the worst thing for me is crisps I do find it really hard which is why I don't buy them but instead of hubby just buying one normal size packet he buys 2 or 3 of the very large bags to save him keep going to the shop and if they are in the house I will eat them so I have told him next time I'm going to put them in the bin lol I should also have more control. see what happens over the next few days lol x x -:)

I have a similar problem with my husband. He will keep buying sweets and scoffing them in the evenings in front of me.I try to resist but some times the temptation is too great.I only want to lose a stone ,but its like one step forward and two back all the time.😬

Hi Rosie I have about 7 stone to lose but if its a stone or seven they should be more mindful well I have told hubby if he buys more than 1 bag of crisps the others will go in the bin and that's exactly what I will do harsh I know but if it teaches him a lesson than that's what I will do. lol x x -:)

Try not to think of it as 'failed' but 'what have I learnt?' 😊

For me, weight loss is a journey and some days we travel faster than others, but as long as we are going forward it doesn't matter 😊

It's a learning curve, and you will get there because you are creating good long term eating habits 😊

Yes you are right I need to stop beating myself up of silly things that's one thing I need to learn. Old habits die hard as they say but thank you for your support. x x -:)

You are doing so well, remember it is the hardest time of year to loose weight-food is all around us and go easy on yourself. Even if you just maintain until Christmas you are doing amazingly! Is hubby overweight too? Sounds like he needs to be a bit more supportive! My hubby will sit and eat rubbish in front of me which is not helpful! You have a lot more restraint than me! Don't give up, we can do this. I can picture us both in a year from now being so pleased that we have got to goal weight and can enjoy new clothes and feeling fitter! I write a list of all the things that I will achieve and feel by loosing weight then visualise it like it's already happened and it often helps keep me motivated. Have a good day today and keep going!

I / we will do this the food around is not bothering me to much its the crisps hubby keeps buying unfortunately I really do have a problem with leaving crisps alone which is why I don't buy them.
