Hi are you having physio as they may suggest something for you.

I know there are lots of people on here who have had knee surgery so will be able to advise you better.

There are a lot of You Tube exercises you can do to sitting down if you google sitting down exercises as my husband does one by Mr Motivator as he has Multipul Sclerosis.

Hi. Our leisure centre does recovery Pilate's and also yoga is really good. You can do it to suit your needs and one lady does Pilate's seated. Both exercises really good for stretching and strengthening. Good luck.

Can you use an exercise bike? I have arthritis and use mine every day 😊 It's in the living room behind the sofa so not really in the way that much, and I really feel the benefit as some days even walking is a struggle 😊

Hmm, this is a tricky one, as you use your knees for most exercise!

Is the physio at the hospital able to advise anything? Otherwise, is gentle walking and maybe swimming OK for you to do as you recover?

The other thing I'd suggest is chair exercises for your upper body, using weights (or water bottles/tins of baked beans). Should be OK to exercise your arms and shoulders, I expect?
