Back up to 17st6 this week, since my phone died during a marathon pokehunting spree, and I'm now struggling to find the motivation to go out, but have still managed to do over 5,000 steps on four of my six exercise days, with fibro pain/apathy accounting for the fails. There have been a few sugar (mainly Milkybar mousse) binges as well, though my dentist giving me the choice between a root canal or an extraction has kicked me into gear a bit with that, too (I've opted for the former).
I'm definitely noticing a physical change - I think a lot of my fat has changed to muscle even if I don't seem to have lost any weight and I think I'm a bit more streamlined. I can see the line down my middle reappearing, and definitely feel it in my arse muscles at the moment - just spent a lovely couple of hours feeding monkey nuts to squirrels with a friend, in a very hilly park. I think I'm on track for dropping a dress size as my trousers definitely feel looser than they were
I'm sharing this recipe, which I've been meaning to make for a while. I left out the egg, as I don't like them unless they're an invisible ingredient, and I used basmati rice because brown takes aaages to cook, but I didn't fry it for very long. I'm going to add some thai curry paste into it next time as it felt like it was missing something. It's probably best as a side dish, although you can do what I did and add in some quorn bits or whatever meat suits (no idea, never been much of a carnivore, sorry!) and have it as a main. Warning, it is pretty moreish!
