Looking after parents - a sorry saga

I helped my sister look after my mum after my dad passed away. The only way I could cope during my dad's illness was by going out for half an hour every day walking or jogging (slowly) Forget the food, do a bit of exercise. Won't solve your problems but it is a way of getting time for yourself and calming down after conversations with hospitals who seem incapable of organising communication

all the best

SO true.

Its often so hard to get out the door but so worth it when we do.

Hi Paterson,

I also find walking to be really enjoyable, and gives plenty of time for thinking, contemplating and enjoying scenery too.

I hope your weekend is going well and that you have a good week ahead.

Lowcal :-)

Life definitely isn't easy paterson and a good walk helps put me in a better, calmer mood too.

Not to detract from the problems you have had, did you also mean this post as a response to Jenever who is going through a lot of stress and also posted about 'a sorry saga' ...

I hope you have a good week 🙂
