Fingers slimmer at last!

Hi I just wanted to share with you an extra benefit I have found from losing weight. For the first time in about 4 years I have been able to wear my engagement ring together with my wedding ring. So nice to see them back together on my finger again. Hope you are all having a good week so far

I actually found I can now wear heels. Does that make sense cause I lost 1.5 stones I can wear heels?

Yes ! I feel so elegant and tall as though I am short! I am about 5.4 inches!

That is lovely - I shall go and look mine out and give it a go, it will be so nice to feel feminine again. Oh - and tights, all those pretty tights - haven't worn em for years!

Funny you are talking about tights you just reminded me that I can finally pull them up and not leave them at my hips!

Not that we want them in summer, but it will be nice to be fancy occasionally.

You are right but try wearing supports in the summer! I must always wear them otherwise I can not run or walk! Today I didn't bother I thought it wasn't necessary! Actually I wear supports plus tights as my supports are discoloured. I just got a new pair. which i a start!

Oh no - I don't fancy it in summer at all

I am really grateful for the new compression running gear that is almost like support underwear, it really helps the jiggly bits!

Hi Lowcal. Yes it does feel great. So kind of you to remember about my busy week. My mother in law and I went to the garden centre today (and avoided the coffee shop) and bought lots of plants which we hope to plant up tomorrow so that my garden looks nice for my family party on Saturday. Day 1 with mother in law and managed to keep within allowance. Hope you having a good week too

Ha 😀 that was one of my reasons for loosing a couple of stones, my engagement ring was so tight it hurt. It fits nicely now, though a bit snug. 👰💕💍looked into getting it resized but thought .... NO I WILL LOOSE THE WEIGHT!!!!!!!

That's fantastic muffin, I haven't been able to wear my original wedding and engagement rings for 11 years now! My hubby, bless him, bought me replacements for my 50th and I managed to grow out of them too! I'm now back into the replacements, but way off the originals. It's a great incentive to keep going
