Hi Shaz00andy,

Welcome to the Weight Loss NHS community forum.  I hope you'll enjoy being part of this community.  I'd like to give you the link to our Welcome Newbie post, which I hope you'll enjoy having a look through:

I'd recommend looking at the NHS 12 week plan, as it is a really good structure and this community is linked to the NHS Choices website, which has such great resources.

Wishing you a great week ahead.

Lowcal :-)

Exercise doesn't have to be about leaping around, heafting weights, or getting sweaty and sore.  Walking, yoga and tai chi are all gentle, non competitive, very enjoyable and good for mental health as well as toning up as you loose weight.  Good luck with the diet, just think of the lovely dress you are going to be able fit into for your wedding.
