Just Signed up for 10km (walk)

I am so chuffed that I have just signed up for a 10km charity walk in September. If you'd have told me I'd be doing this in January I would have laughed my head off!

I can already walk 10km (did it last week on Dartmoor) but thought that signing up for this walk would keep me on track.

Right better pop out now and get some more training :)

  • Great idea to set yourself a goal that you will be doing with other people, this will prove to both you and others what you can now do, well done!

  • Thanks Ros. When I signed up I thought 10km is ok, I did that last Saturday. But then I remembered I had a 20 mins rest (picnic) half way around. I have 3 months to train though so I am sure I will be fine. Now I have to keep walking for the next 3 months. I have a few sponsors now so the pressure is on :)

  • Managed my first 10km without stopping today :) Still got 12 weeks to go and feeling more positive that I will make it to the end.
