Well done! You are doing exactly the right thing by weighing fortnightly, people who weigh daily only dishearten themselves and then finish up losing their mojo. Keep it up!
Thank you very much for your encouragement GRUMPYA. You are so right, I used to weigh myself every day and then comfort eat when the scales didn't tell me what I wanted to hear. This time I changed tactics and so far it is proving to be the right way!

I think it's good idea not to get too caught up in weighing. There's nothing wrong with doing it daily and I know it works for some people as they can spot trends. However, I got myself into weighing daily and became a bit obsessed with it and it depressed me when the number didn't change. I've now switched to bi-weekly weigh ins. That way I can still check midweek that I'm on goal. I'm hoping to go back to weekly weighins eventually. But I'm weening myself off!

I like your post because it's about one of the major factors of success, one at a time, pound by pound...I have to remind my self often that this process is not about the number. It is about health, balanced life and feeling good....
Awh thank you very much 2BHappy for your encouraging message. I have changed my mindset from it being a "diet" to being a "healthy lifestyle." This has helped me a lot over these past 10 weeks, to not be focusing on weight loss, but on giving myself a healthy life

Today, for the first time in as long as I can remember, had to rehook my bra to the second setting (tighter) because it was getting to be too loose! It has made my entire day.. slow and steady.. slow and steady keep at it!
