14 week and multivitamin

I am now 14 weeks pregnant and I have taken Centrum Pregnancy Care starting from first week of pregnancy? Is it safe to take the vitamin until labour? I mean it contains folic acid (400mg) is folic necessary?

Yes it's fine. .alot of cereals also contain folic acid, have u read the back of the packet. .I take pregnacare and contain folic acid and I will continue to take them all the way thru x

Yes I still take mine I'm 32 plus 4, days. You may also find by week 20-28 you will be given iron tablets as baby needs sooo much iron for all the extra blood and growing that is going on. I'm on pregnacare and iron tablets from the midwife

hello. is it possible to take pregnacare and iron tablets? pls what is the name of the iron tablet? i am 7weeks and i take only the pregnacare with omega 3. thanks

There is iron in pregnacare. If you're not anaemic, you will not need more. Hold off for as long as possible - the constipation is horrendous!! :- p

Thank for the replies. Mine also contains many minerals such as copper, iron, selenium etc.. It is fine..

I'm still taking the pregnacare, although I give myself regular breaks from it as the small amount of iron in it is soooo constipating!!

i took pregnacare until i had my little boy which was 4-4-13, i also took iron.tablets for.the last 6 weeks of pregnancy but that was prescribed.
