G'day ms family, All are well I hope, living your best life. Good morning so far, workup at 0500, got out of bed at 0600 stood up and did not bounce off the wall. A good start in my opinion. A few hours to go until my first infusion. Did I mention that I have an irrational fear of needles? A good old-fashioned phobia. Well if I did not, I do. No gym this morning. My wife will not let me go and friend will not drive me so Wednesday is.
Okay back to the important stuff, YOU. How ARE YOU , REALLY? IT IS OK TO BR SAD, BUT LET ME ASSURE YOU THAT YOU ARE OKAY. This is a confusing illness, and nobody is good at answers, BUT YOU can do this. One step at a time, one after the other. Believe me there is NO CURE, no matter what anybody says or sells. Keep your money in your pocket. Find your preferred Disease Modifying Therapy (DMT, eat healthily and Move your body.
Live very well, be very happy and make the best out of the solution we are all in.

Good luck today! Positive thinking works. To take a page out of your book, I'll add that I realize that not everyone can or should be happy all the time. That there are people out there with clinical depression who can benefit from drugs and/or therapy. That the rest of us need the opportunity to cry or scream or pound on pillows sometimes. However, a lot can be said by focusing on the good things instead of the bad.
Yesterday, I went to visit my uncle during one of his all-too-frequent hospital stays. He's dying, and we all know it but are trying to ignore it. Getting from the parking lot to the building in a wheelchair was fraught with danger. Just getting through hospital security was a nightmare. My 80-year-old mother nearly passed out in the heat. Finding his cubicle reminded me of being in a terrifying Escape Room. I wouldn't have even recognized him at first glance if my aunt hadn't been sitting beside him.
But you know what? We had a lovely visit. He's alert and conscious and still has the same personality. My aunt looked prettier than she has in months. They're treating his current illness and will hopefully send him home soon. We didn't get the thunderstorms they were calling for. Mum took me to Red Lobster afterwards (I love seafood and can't afford restaurants), and I gorged on my first Shrimp Fest. When I got back home, my dog greeted me like I'd been gone for months. Life is good.
I found watching the needle go in me helps with my fear, ignoring the fact that I've had a lot of jabs (for immunisations, contraceptive stuff, copaxone) and yet nurses still find it weird that I watch! You'll be fine π however, speak to a nurse and ask when would be best advisable for you to attend a gym. I fear picking up illnesses when swimming, so I haven't returned to the public swimming pool π’ Anyway, you'll be fine! I usually take a blanket because it gets quite chilly, something to read/watch with headphones/earbuds, and my own food & drink to have when it's not dinner time.

How did the infusion go yesterday? So sorry about your fear of needles. I have small veins, and they stick and stick me, trying to get a vein. Oh well. I hope it went well.
I love to read your inspirational talks they always lift my heart even when I don't know it's down, God bless you & keep always, hope your treatment goes well!
