G'day my Relapsing Remitting ms Sisters and Brothers. I am serious, You are going to be okay. Right now this disease seems overwhelming, beyond your ability to cope. IT IS NOT. Slow down, and stop for a minute or two. It is going to be okay, YOU are going to be OKAY. YOU, like me, are sick now, and forever more. YOU like me are going to have this illness until the day you die, that is barring any medical miracles, and YOU like me CAN and WILL live a long and mostly full life despite of this illness.

Do not hope for a cure, that is unlikely to happen. Hope within yourself that YOU find the strength, determination, the bloody-mindedness to make this illness act a little on your terms. Your first decision, take Ocrevus. Eat healthy and exercise and stretch. Take a sedative before a Magnetic Resonance Image (MRI) session. Keep good records. Start an RRms diary. Write down dates and what procedures YOU had done.

Relax, and feel free to cry. We all at some level do it is okay.

YOU ARE GOING TO BE ALRIGHT, DO NOT MAKE ANY RASH DECISIONS. Your spouse may abandon YOU, sadly that is the state of our society. Mine did but YOU are going to be OKAY.

Relax, take your time, YOU are going to be OKAY.

Live well, YOU are loved and cared about. Your RRms life has just begun. It will be full of downs and some ups but YOU can DO this.

Royce

I am so far from ok its not even funny anymore. MS has stolen my LIFE, My Identity, almost everything I ever LOVED!!!! That is BS cause with MS there ain't no paved way... mine is TRYING to KILL me. It's not all the same Royce, while you voice is one that can bring hope please don't downplay our suffering from this madness, please.

I acknowledge your suffering but as I do not know it I can not speak of it. All that I can speak of is my life and give people the wish to NOT suffer as you appear to.

I am so very. very tired of YOU reminding me and everyone else of all the negative effects of MS. YOU are the most clueless person I have ever encountered. YOUR thoughts serve nobody but the self absorbed YOU. GET help, consult a professional, show him YOUR scribblings and let he/she show YOU how to deal with YOUR selfish bring everyone down with me attitude. g'day mate.

Thank you for your very constructive input. It is nice to read your hundreds of letters of helpful ADVICE TO PEOPLE. Oh you do not, must be my mistake, have a nice day.

Why do YOU think that if YOU write a letter it's perfect? It is like an idiot writing a letter about nuclear fusion. I hope YOU are wearing a neck tie so YOU can pull YOUR inflated ,for no reason to, head out out of YOUR butt. Keep pulling until YOU see daylight.

WOW! What negative responses! I have always viewed Royce's writings as sort of our own cheerleader section. I for one appreciate his writings and believe we must all try to be positive and do our best to combat this terrible affliction

Thank you very much, I understand that we are all different in most things including our outlook. I feel it is best to allow a stranger to be (my opinion) negative because I am not in their shows, but again thank you for your kind words.

With MS, there is enough negativity. As you have demonstrated, we need positivity and the will to keep fighting against it as best we can, and "cheerleading" may be the best we can hope for, and an encouraging word from someone with the same problem can mean a lot.

Thanks for sharing this reminder. Today is my first appointment back at Ms center due to my pregnancy. Wasn't ready and a bit discouraged to have to get back to reality again but one day at a time. Ready to continue my ocrevus.
