G'day family. today I am going to lecture YOU on my opinion. That means ignore it if YOU like, it is just my opinion.

YOU have ms, this does not give YOU any right not to be polite. YOU have heard 101 different miracle cures, or cousins that were cured by,abc, whatever. This does not give YOU justification not to be polite. It may be hard. It may take effort not to spit in their face, kick them, or swear at them, but be polite. I am guilty of this and am ashamed of myself for not being polite.

Try, try, try your hardest to be polite. This is a journey, on your deathbed look back on your life and say "Yes, I was polite".

I don't usually freak out on those that involve themself in my business with misguided efforts to "help"but if their actions actually have a direct affect on myself or my loved ones, they're gonna get it!

My one regret in life is I was wearing my MS Warior t-shirt in a shopping trip to Walmart. (Prepandemic) A guy stopped me in the isle passing the opposite direction. I was hobbling with cane in my left hand while bracing myself on the buggy (shoping cart for those not in the midwest) with my right as I do. He looked at me and asked..."MISS warior???" With a puzzled look... I replied.. "I have Mutiple Sclerosis" MS awareness... right??? WRONG!!!! For his reply was.. "Oh!!! You'll be alright." I was ALREADY not alright... or I wouldn't have been hobbling down the isle xand and buggy supporting my weight wearing the t-shirt I was!!! My regret is... I didn't flip him the bird and say do I frickin LOOK alright?????

I have to agree, Royce. Most people mean well, so I take their comments in the spirit intended. It does get frustrating, but I save the rants for this forum and my immediate family.

I am certainly glad that works for y'all. The only thing that saving my rants for my family and loved ones was ALONE!!! I guess we take stuff out on loved ones... the saying we hurt the ones we love the most.. well sometimes they then vanish. So I'm throwing my political correctness out the window!! For I've FINALLY found new people introduced in my life and they are the last ones I'm gonna vent on Unless it's directly due to a visible issue effecting the current activity... like I'm too fr2aking hot I need the ac... etc... they are now more priceless tha. Diamonds to me.

I'm sorry that happened to you, Allen. I've been blessed, but "family" these days is just my mother and kids. I wrote off the rest of them years ago.
