So I have been dealing with this back pain for a solid year now. The doctor had thought all along that it was my SI joint, but it has really escalated in pain level the past 8 days or so. Plus the pain is so intense and comes in waves, it makes me vomit. I saw him today on an unscheduled appointment. He got me in quickly when he heard how bad it had gotten. I mentioned that I am also having some trouble urinating. He looked surprised and said he thought that I have kidney stones! It really makes sense when everything is considered. So I’m having a CT scan done next week. He wanted it done sooner, but the schedule was full. I’m not sure how I feel about the option: stones or SI joint? It’s rather sixes, isn’t it? Both of them are very painful! I will keep you posted. Thank you for being there for me. I’m always grateful to you. Much love to all of you, Kelly ❤️

i'm glad your doctor is looking after you and i hope you feel better soon.🤗
Sorry you are going through this, I hope you get answers soon. Keep us updated when you can.
Can’t the doc give you anything for the pain or advice on how to help break the kidney stones up? You shouldn’t be vomiting, prayers to give you comfort in all areas. 🤗
I’m taking hydromorphone for the pain, which is very strong. And we are not even sure yet if I have kidney stones. I’m going for a CT scan in about two hours. If it is not, then we will do an MRI. We have been treating it like an SI problem. I may be getting some strong injections on Monday depending on what happens with the testing. He said that kidney stones will cause vomiting and problems urinating. I’m anxious to know some answers. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. 😊
Hi Kelly, i'm glad you are in good hands. i hope you get well soonest. prayers
I'm so sorry you are dealing with this. Back pain is just awful. I have been having severe pains in my back for almost five months. It comes and goes but when it hits, it takes my breath away. I finally convinced my doctor to send me for an MRI of my T-spine and L-spine which I am having this Friday. I had mentioned to my doctor that I had pain in my hip bones, but she never brought up the possibility of SI issues. Reading your post, I may look into that as well. I hope you get some answers soon. A few months ago, I had an attack that I thought was kidney stones, but after testing discovered a raging kidney infection. Please keep us posted on what your tests show. Hope you get some relief soon.
I hope you find answers quickly and get relief even sooner. Pain is awful; so sorry you are dealing with this. Prayers 🙏
So sorry you are in so much pain. Prayers for relief. Neither one of those possibilities sound good but at least you can get rid of kidney stones without surgery. My daughter has had several until she started drinking bottle water. Hope relief comes soon.
Oh, my! Hoping it is something that can easily be fixed with the least discomfort.
Aw, man, I am sorry! Back pain is the worst. Please keep us posted! In the meantime, I will be praying for you, Kelly!!
Praying that you will get the answer to what ails you, Amore55 🙏
