What's your understanding of how MS progression happens? I found this link in a post on Richard Cohen's blog. The blog topic was MS pain, but someone added this link to their comment. This is likely not anything new, I actually have a vague memory of hearing it explained before, but I thought I'd share it.
My neurologist hasn't really gone into an explanation of what he meant when he mentioned progression, but this will do for me.
Your link didn’t work for me, but I went to YouTube to see what you were taking about and found this one. I like this leaky pool. It makes sense why lesion load would be an important thing to monitor. So eventually I’ll get to meet my green lesions 😞
I updated the link (I know better than to post a copied link from the browser). When you share from YouTube they give you a short link to use. It should work now.
I had heard the pool theory before but he explains it wonderfully. Thanks! So much for posting and thanks! kdali for posting the working link.
My pool is very leaky. I keep trying to fill it with water but the holes must be too large now and my efforts are frustratingly not working anymore. And I have an obstacle course of stalagmites 🙁
Who has the leak repair kit?
Or better question, what stops the leaking? Diet? Exercise? Magical DMTs? Managing stress?
Someone throw me the life preserver 😬
