Flu Shot
hope you feel better 🥰
I got my flu shot at my physical appt last week. My arm hurt for about an hour or so but then was fine. Hope you start to feel better ASAP!
Yuck, the flu shot usually gets me too. I hope you're feeling better now!
A little bit is better than a lot!😆💗
I don't have reactions to the flu shot.. but I take some advil before an appointment, so I'm ready for whatever they throw at me!! Hope you felt better after your sleep!
My doc says that you only need the bone density test about every 10 years.
I had the extra strength flu shot for people over 65 a couple of days ago and didn't have any trouble. There are a couple of tricks, though. I started massaging the area as soon as it went in until we got home. I did an elliptical workout when I got home, which kept it moving and increased the circulation of the vaccine. Then I massaged it on and off the rest of the day. You should always be well hydrated before, too.
Hi Jes, hope you are feeling better ! I had my Extra Strength Flu Shot and my 3rd Covid Booster about a week and a half ago, same arm, no problem. So yesterday, I FINALLY went by and got my first Shingles vaccine. My PCP has been nagging/reminding me about it for at least 2 years, and I have an appt. with him next week. I know I came off of my chair! That shot hurt more than any shot I can ever remember having, including all the years I gave them to myself! The 5 Covid shots/boosters were nothing compared to this one. It had to be the girl giving the shot...I don't know who trained her, or if anybody did! My arm is hot today, but doesn't hurt, so I'm counting down the days until I get the second one..in 2 to 6 months.
Hi Jes…About a week ago I got my flu vaccine in one arm and a Covid booster in the other. I made sure I moved my arms a lot afterwards and stayed hydrated. I had no trouble with the flu shot. However, the Covid booster caused bruising where the nurse injected it, (she hit something that caused a lot of blood), I also had a rash on my arm that lasted for days. These are the first vaccines since I was taken off Ocrevus. I know I’ve started to repopulate B cells so maybe I actually built some antibodies for the first time!
we're all a bit twisted from illness😜, but i hope you feel better soon🤗.
