But, others have to try my patients! Seriously, some Drs just shouldnt be. I went and saw my PC last month, l told her l needed a TB test, (neuro said to get it) and flu shot. She said she sent them to the pharm. π€ Even the TB test? Yup.. okπ€·ββοΈ thinking its not right.. but?...
Called pharm to get appt for covid booster and asked about the TB test... She said my PC had to do thatπ thought so.. grrr Why? Just Why? π‘
Is it that hard to listen? To take a min to actully listen to the person in front of you? Before they run out the door to the next? π Ok, lm done π€£ππ€£

I believe it is time to stop bitching about the flaws in your doctors and instead appreciate that they are still in practice. A very recent study of medical students found that over half of them do not plan on going into clinical practice. They are using medical school as a means to further careers in other fields. Furthermore, a quarter of them are considering quitting medical school. And the doctors who are practicing now are retiring or changing careers as fast as they can. They are burned out; their hearts and minds are broken. They are being beat up by electronic medical records, insurance, their corporate bosses, serious time constraints, unattainable quotas, mean website reviews, and so much more. More and more are committing suicide. There is already a serious shortage of many specialties as well as family practice and internal medicine. I predict that in five years most of us will not be able to find an M.D. to make an appointment with.
Your PCP may have truly believed you could get a TB test at a pharmacy and may not keep the testing supplies in their office. Pharmacies didn't used to administer vaccines so I wouldn't be surprised if some pharmacies do TB testing now too. I used to have to have a TB test every year for work but they stopped that a while back. If your PCP office doesn't do them your local health dept might. I know I went to the health dept many years ago for travel vaccines. You can always Google tb testing in your area too.
i agree that is so true just not wanting others to have to wait ,well i am someone too....they make to many apts..for the doctors to be able to talk to people to find out what is really going on ....they can really upset me and i agree with your card ....love it actually ...take care and maybe ask for another doctor that has the time to listen to get the things ordered and done right ....sorry about the bs that they had us ...how about we send them letters to say ha won't pay today have others to take care of...ahahhahaha...they wouldn't like that right ....take care and enjoy life looking outside and enjoying all the little guys running around ...birds cats and dogs ...ahhahha...love and much more happiness....
