We’ve had quite a lot going on over here. My hubby, daughter and myself have been taking turns getting sick for the last several months. Along with the horrible reaction to my infusion and ER visit in March. Fun fun 🙄!
My daughter (almost 4) has to have surgery June 9th for ear tubes and adenoid removal after two back to back ear infections in a month. The last being resistant to antibiotics. Please be praying for her (and me!).
On the bright side, hubby and I decided to take off last minute on a road trip to Arizona; Scottsdale, Sedona and the Grand Canyon (after we had to cancel our original trip on a plane because of above mentioned ear trouble). I was worried it would be too hot for me, but the weather was perfect and we had a blast!
I felt like I was able to forget about MS for a week. I ate what I wanted, hiked, biked and ran around with my little girl. Also went on an off road jeep adventure. I felt “normal” and it was wonderful! Hope everyone is well.
Blessings,
Jessica ❤️

Awesome, glad you went on that road trip. It's so nice just going away from the daily grind, and to just have your mind on having fun and adventure. Best wishes for your daughter's surgery.
Oh that photo is fabulous, it is so good to hear of your delight of playing with your family and having a good time, pleased that the weather wasn’t too hot, blessings Jimeka hope and pray all goes well with your daughters op. 🤗
We loved Arizona! I told my husband maybe we should move to Scottsdale. I’m just worried it’ll be too hot for me. How is the heat where you are? I’m in Southern California, so it’s hot here too 🤷♀️
I love AZ as well. Just have learned when to stay in when the weather is too hot or do everything in the early morning or evening. I’m actually about an hour from Phoenix and 4 hrs from Sedona. Actually enjoy the no humidity. Such a beautiful state🙏🏾
many prayers to help you survive her surgery ...i know for fact it is a nerve racking to have your child go thru surgery but i hate to with both of my children also had the ear tubes also...all good and is worth it...good luck in trying to relax ...love and much happiness...blessings to relax and prayers also ...
Thanks! It is very stressful! I’m an OR nurse, so I think I know too much, lol. Luckily she’s having the procedure at my job and I was able to pick who will be there. I’m hoping it will be worth it ❤️
So happy you had a great and memorable time! thanks for sharing the pictures. I don't know about the weather in Scottsdale but Sedona is up in the mountains so maybe... Most importantly I offer up prayers for you and your family as you all go through your little one's surgery.
I recently moved to Arizona from Massachusetts, Jer29-11 . Yes, it is hot but manageable. I moved to escape the New England winters! Glad that I did! Keep Smiling
That’s great to hear! I bet those winters were brutal! I’m born and raised in Southern California, so I know I could never do snow or anything colder than 40 or 50 degrees, lol
