Just got back from a week in London. I worried about this trip for months wondering if I could hack it. The week was very enjoyable, got to visit with my daughter (the reason I took this trip), and saw some interesting sites. My sister (on the right, me in the middle, daughter on the left) went along, which was great since I don't see her often b/c she lives in another state. We even got to see Hamilton on the West End - what a play! My daughter is doing well and will be finishing her graduate program in August. She made her plane reservation and will be getting home 3 days before my next big goal for this summer - having my other daughter's wedding in our backyard (mid-August - something else I've been worrying about since last fall).

I'm glad you had fun
Lovely! 🥰
Congratulations!!!
That's wonderful! My mother keeps trying to get me to go to London with her, but I don't fly. I'm glad you had a great trip.
I'm so glad that you enjoyed yourself! It really can be hard to know in advance, so it's wonderful that it went well. I hope you have lots of help lined up for the wedding! 😁
I need to work on setting up enough help. Stressing me out 😵💫
I bet. Definitely want to recruit lots of help and take on a more "supervisory role"! I hope you can call housecleaners, caterers, etc., and hopefully some of your daughter's friends would be willing to help out. It sounds beautiful to have a wedding at home, just hope everyone goes out of their way to keep you from having a relapse! Best of luck.
way awesome! I’m glad you had a great time and nice pic! The castle looks really cool :). Have fun at the wedding!
Those are big goals! Good for you for taking them on!
I’m so happy for you! That’s a lovely picture of you and your family. Congratulations to your daughter on finishing her graduate program and best wishes to your other daughter on her wedding!
I'm glad you enjoyed London. I love it too. My daughter went over there to grad school 10 years ago and niw she has citizenship. Good luck with the backyard wedding in August too!
Wow, Elizt3 ! Simply incredible! And you’re looking forward to a wedding in August? Congratulations! Beautiful memories you are making! 🥰
I love to visit other countries. So much more history there! I'm glad you had the opportunity to go and have a wonderful time!
Glad you enjoyed London
Such a lovely post! I’m really happy that you enjoyed yourself in England. I agree with the others about having help for the wedding. We had our wedding reception at our house. It will be 30 years ago in August.z we hired a nice man to get the house sparkling clean before hand, we had a caterer and a DJ my husband and I worked full-time back then I was still taking call in two modalities. We absolutely needed some help… Lol it was also for me pre-diagnosis. It was the most intimate wedding reception I’ve ever been to in my opinion, of course
thank you for your thoughts. I appreciate the comments about getting help - something I definitely need to do. The person I had lined up ghosted me last month! ugh! I can't tell you how many early morning awakenings I have had worrying about this day.
