This is the year that I’m actually taking my vacation time. Usually I just take a few days here and there. After the year I had last year losing my dad,and then getting diagnosed with ms two months later I feel it’s time to start enjoy life. Trying to do things while I can since I know with the disease I don’t know what the next day could bring. Leaving today for Horseheads Ny with the boyfriend. Hoping to hike watkin glens state park because they have lots of waterfalls and I love waterfalls. Not sure how much of it I can do but we are going to do what I can get get through. Then going to see some museums.
It should be s good trip even if it rains and we can’t do the hike.

Thank you. We are leaving today so that’ll give me time to relax from the long car ride. Maybe hiking tomorrow. Told the boyfriend may not be able to hike it all but we can do some. It’s mostky steps so it’s a little easier then a normal hike from
What I’ve read. Then a day of just touring museums and such. Then on the next day. Hoping this will be a good trip for the boyfriend and I. First one together since last year we had to postpone because my father passed.
Good for you! I rarely take vacation time as well but did take a week a couple of weeks ago and thought vaca time is fantastic! I think anyone that is newly diagnosed w/MS should take the time to get to know their "New" body/brain.
So glad you are taking a vacation. It’s so very important to take time away from work and the daily routine. Have a wonderful time. A friend was there last month camping and hiking. She had a great time and took beautiful pictures of the waterfalls.
