Hi All,

In the US, March is MS Awareness month. I plan to spend this month in prayer, over myself - yes, and for all who are affected by MS. If you don't believe in a higher power, please be respectful and move on from these posts. But if you would like to, please read and join in with me in lifting up these things. My goal is to post once a day for this month.

blessings,

Laurie

Dear God,

Thank you for this new day to live. Please help me to live it well and to be who you made me to be and do the things that I know are good and deep down want (and you want) me to do. Yesterday I prayed for perseverance and for humility to try new things and discipline and such. I am reminded of a testimony I once heard from a man who shared with our church. He spoke about accepting Christ into his heart and how you called him to become a doctor and as he was applying to med schools, you spoke to him in a dream. You told him to study whale migration and he was surprised. But he obeyed you and looked up what he could. Friends had shared with him about how during interviews for med schools, many will inquire about other topics and not just stick to the norm. When it came time for him to interview at Harvard, one of the interviewers asked him what he knew about whale migration patterns! I believe Lord that you prepared him for that and really did speak to him in a dream so that he would be ready for that interview.

So as we try new things, I pray for wisdom from you. Oh Lord, you have all the answers. You know what specific thing can help our bodies to feel better or even heal completely. I pray that you would bring revelation. May it not just be that we are desperately trying every. single. thing. out there. Some people claim that they don't feel any more symptoms of MS because they have tried xyz. But whatever it was may not work for every individual. I pray that you would speak to us through a friend, through a dream, through whatever means you would and help us to discern and to listen well. Please show us an answer. You are all knowing and I believe you are perfect and good and kind. Please show us what would help us. Please heal us.

In Jesus' name, amen
