Check your diet, try all protein and no sugar or carbs for 6 months. Also, I wonder what Magnesium added to your daily intake would impact your overall?
What makes you think it is psoriasis? It's much more likely to be contact dermatitis. And why do you think steroids make it spread? A steroid cream is the treatment of choice whether it is a contact allergy or psoriasis.
You might try CeraVe. I have a number of skin conditions which is why my ankle incision took so long to heal. The skin in that area still breaks out with eczema and itches. CeraVe helps though it's no miracle. It's not scented or medicated, but it moisturizes very well. I too was prescribed a steroid cream but CeraVe works better than that ever did.
I have psoriasis, too. The most commonly used non-steroidal treatment is Dovonex. If used daily as prescribed it is wonderful! Do you see a dermatologist?
Psoriasis is auto-immune, and steroid creams are the standard treatment. If it is spreading you need to talk to your doctor about maybe trying a different cream or even one of the oral meds. I had a small patch of psoriasis a million years ago and I know how maddening the itching is, however scratching it is probably aggravating it and is likely to be the cause of it spreading. "Condolences" - it is a horrible thing to deal with, and I so feel for those people who have patches of it all over their bodies - one patch about 3 inches across was enough for me...........
My condolences to you too! It's horrible! I itch in my sleep! Til I bleed! It's awful π wear long socks but I'm not cutting my nails!π€£π€ππ
