No decorations yet, not sure if there will be any this year. We have not decorated or even put up a small tree in the last few years. Now that we have Reeses the cat, not sure about a tree. Maybe a small one? I don't know.
She is a sweetie, and she loves her Mommie! She has claimed you, and I will bet that she has to touch you, whenever you are around. I have one with her head on my lap right now!
Yes, when she comes into my room while I'm watching tv, she has to be touching me. If I don't pay attention to her, she will get in front of the tv so I pet her lol
Once the kids stopped helping me decorate, I got a 4' artificial that doesn't have to be taken apart. It goes on top of a wooden trunk in the living room and is light enough for me to carry one-handed. I leave the lights on it from year to year and only add balls and whatnot when I feel like it.
None of my dogs have ever really messed with the trees or gifts. Charlie just likes to eat the one-piece, round Nativity. π‘ I've learned to put it out of reach on a shelf.
If I do any other decorating, it'll just be to hang some fake pine on the front porch and slap a few bows on the living room walls. I miss the days when I could do the whole house!
Jasper plays in waterπ he loves itπ€£ππ€£ l love the girls " not touching the tree" when your not looking <~ you forgot that part π€£ππ€£π€ππ
π€£π€£π€£ surely he would hate getting shot with it! I had to let V hang a few ornaments and Val has her own felt toddler tree she likes to decorate or wear π€·ββοΈπ€£π€£π€£
Probably wonβt due any this year itβs just me and Rozy. With my foot π¦Ά it would be tough. Still have a tree and all the ornaments and nativity scenes in the shed. Probably time to see if Tyler and Katy are ready for them. 8 years ago I gave all my outside lights and displays to my niece as she had little ones. Use to be Chevy Chase Christmas π vacation guy π€ͺπ. Was sure cool coming home from work in the dark and Jody having everything turned on and lit up π₯°ππΌπ
We have scaled down to a 3 foot tree that we put on a table. My husband is doing it now as I got stuck with it for way to long. If he wants it up, he has to do it. We passed out full size tree to our daughter.
we use to try to tree to something so they wouldn't topple it done...have fun ...check water more often for they may drink it also.....love and happiness...
Not yet! I'm still being Thankful! ( that's what I told my neighbor when she questioned my choice of the wreath on the front door.) I don't use a live tree any more, but I will put up an 8 ft artificial tree, with white led lights and pet friendly decorations, I have a couple hundred small fabric stockings, some tiny mittens, and this year I am adding some angel wings that I found, a pair for each of the furbabies that are no longer with us. Some of the cats will climb the tree, some will sleep in it, others will sleep under it. I won't worry about the tree or the furbabies, which is SO much better than stressing out all the time as I did for way too many years. I have a beautiful Nativity set that I can't put out. because cats can/will climb, and somebody always wants to play with Baby Jesus. I will TIE a large Angel to the top of the tree. It won't be the one we used last year, as she flew off the top of the tree, one too many times. Since everybody loves to open presents, there will be nothing under that tree until Santa comes!
My tree is still not decorated, and my display table isnt done yet, so dont feel bad! Im slacking badπ€£ππ€£π but my daughter has not said when she will be here yet... sooooo dont feel bad! π€ππ
i got a faux christmas tree one year with blinking lights on it. that night in my dreams, there were these giant hammers pounding on my headboard. when i awoke, my first cat was launching himself at the tree each and every time it lit.π i turned off the lights and he followed me around miaowing.
I have heard that you can keep a cat out of a Christmas tree if you hang it upside down from the ceiling (the tree, that is), Jesmcd2 ! I havenβt started yet! Planning on getting a tree next week though!
