I fill my bird feeder with the good bird food... About every 3-4days. Even if its empty, cause they need to do their job too... like eat the spiders and bugs out side...
Anyway... I was having a problem with a cpl of black birds eating all the food..
So, I thought (Big Mistake) I will toss bird seed over the yard, so the birds would stay off the feeder... I did!
I did the dishes, turned around...
Looked out the window....
OMG... holy #$%* 🤣😂🤣
My whole yard was COVERED with black birds!! 😯😂🤣😂
So I tapped the window, and they ALL took off!!
My neighbors love me! 🤣😂🤣
Moral of the story? Dont let me come up with my own ideas! 🤣😂🤣

Oh Mercy! I live near ( can't see it, but I hear the boat engines sometimes kind of near) a Lake, or chain of Lakes, and this time of year big flocks of Canadian Geese fly in to spend the winter on our lakes. As they see the water, they slow down and start dropping lower as they coming in for a landing. Absolutely gorgeous to watch, but be very careful, and don't look up if you are standing right under the big beautiful birds as they come to their Winter home, for, whatever reason, they all let it fly, or you will be covered in Goose poop!
Be ready to wash your windows, car, porch, sidewalk, because the white stuff is coming your way, Jesmcd2 ! Don’t worry though, it’s good luck when you get it in your hair!
The Starlings, Grackles and Cowbirds (all some type of blackbird) will empty my feeders in the Spring and Fall, mostly when they are migrating. Some times I keep feeding and other times I knock on a window or go outside and run them off (I am sure some of my neighbors think that I am crazy) 😜 the ones that know me are sure that I am crazy 😝.
