How tired does everyone get with the infusion? Will i be able to drive home after?

I had my hubby come the first time since I didn't know how I would feel. He ran some errands and came back. I drive myself now. The benadryl wears off enough by the time I can leave. I know they are starting to do shorter infusion times now so I may have to sit in my car before driving if I am not awake enough. They haven't switched to the shorter times at my doctors office yet though.

if it was a short distance for me i would drive but it is 70 miles for me and I personally am very fatigue because i cannot sleep during the treatment

How wonderful! If someone can drive you that would be great it is a long day and depends on how tired benedryl makes you. The steroids keep me up. You will do great!

My infusions go very smoothly. They will give you a Benadryl and Tylenol to begin with. They then hang a 20 minute bag of steroids and then run your infusion. The Steroid keeps me awake so I bring a tablet so I can watch a movie. I recommend a book or something to keep you occupied.

I have never issue driving home.
