Update on Kesimpta

Good Evening Everyone. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!! As promised I am giving you my update on Kesimpta. I started with my first injection on Christmas evening. It was very easy injectable pen too operate, the injection took approximately 10 seconds too complete. I only experienced some achiness and my balance felt just a little bit worse. I did take advil 1 hour before I injected and continued with the advil throughout the day. Other then that everything went smooth and I am extremely happy! Now I have an injection this coming Friday and 1 the following Friday, after that I skip a week then start 1 injection a month. I'll keep you posted and my next injection

Thank you so much for keeping us posted in your progress my care team has recommended that I stay the course with Ocrevus as my experience has been so positive compared to any other dmt I have been on . Ie no exacerbations nor any serious side effects, and if financial assistance is available to cover out of pocket staying with Ocrevus does seem like a good choice. Bikeguy I am so happy you are having a good response to Ocrevus, I did not respond well to it, that is why my Dr wanted me to try Kesimpta. We are so lucky that we have so many options to choose from today to keep us moving and keeping us hopeful. Sue
