Ok guys! So I've made the decision to start the Kesimpta and I'm going in for my 3rd weekly start up dose.So far, the side effects are very mild. Almost non existent. However, I'm continuing to have that blurred sensation coming and going between both eyes. My eyes also seem to feel fatigued by evening every day. But so far vision is good.
For those who experienced vision loss, how does that happen? I'm worried because I'm a single mom with absolutely no support immediately around me.
Looking for some hope in this process
❤️Btw, I truly appreciate each and every one of you!

Please let me know how it goes on Kesimpta, I am thinking about it right now as I am not going to be able to stay on Ocrevus after this year. As far as vision loss I never completely lostine but did lose some acuity and most of the color vision iny left eye, I didn't know what was going on but went to regular optometrist and she told" there is nothing I can do for this this isn't just just vision changes with age but rather optic neuritis. Hope you don't ever have to go through that and best wishes for you
Can definitely do! I've used Avonex 20yrs ago but only for a year since it was too depressing for me. I haven't actually had any symptoms until recently. I'm so shocked! Don't understand why now, 20yrs later. Could be because I had my first panic attack and mental health issues arose.
For the vision, I haven't been seen by a neurologist yet but I feel like I have blurry spots that randomly come and go in both eyes throughout the day. Knock on wood my vision is still good but I live in so much fear and anxiety that one day.......😱
Thanks for sharing your story though. It always helps
I'm glad to hear you decided to give the Kesimpta a try and you are tolerating it well! Good for you. Please keep in mind that the Kesimpta will not alleviate any symptoms you are having. The DMTs job is to slow progression of disease activity and reduce relapses. Do let your doctor know about your vision issues. Keep us posted on your progress. Best of luck! 🤗
