I want to thank everyone for your kind words regarding Sadie. I am happy to report that she is almost back to normal. I can't believe we almost lost her a week ago. It was touch and go for a few days but she is back to being her spoiled with love self. I know that our time together is coming to end in the near future so I am spending as much time with her as possible. She is a sweet, gentile, prissy goofball girl. You wouldn't think of a German Shepherd as gentile & prissy, I guess that's the Doberman in her.
Once again thank you, everyone, for being there for me. That's what I love about this group, no matter what everyone is there for each other. Blessing to you all.

Blessings come in all ways. Like you I am appreciating the time I have left with Razor. They give us so much comfort and joy. So pleased Sadie is nearly back to her old self. Enjoy your Christmas, Blessings Jimeka π πΆ π€
I had a full blood Blue that was a great dog. The only reason I had her was because she was hairless! The breeder was going to put her down because they couldn't sell her so I got her. She lived to be 15 then had cancer. Did I tell you that before? Can't remember who I've told that too.
I dont think so she had been sick due to an intestinal infection & got dehydrated which caused her good to make too many red cells & her age (it's more detailed but that's in a nutshell) The vet thinks that's what caused it. So it can happen again at any time or never again.
My fur baby is having a biopsy today. I am a nervous wreck! Fur babies cant tell u how they feel. Only with their eyes which is not always helpful. Just makes u melt.
I am happy Sadie is doing better for Christmas! Get her lots of treats (approved by the vet of course!) and hugs from me!
I hope all went well. I know about wishing they could tell you what is wrong. They are wired to not show they are sick or hurting so it makes it really hard. On the other hand I'm glad they can't talk. Their mouths would be going g 24/7. Whatcha doin? Why? Come on let's go outside. All day non-stop unless they are eating g or taking their naps!B-)
Haha good point! Yes biopsy went well. Turned out to be either an ingrown hair or bug bite or something. Glad vet found it and it turned out to be nothing. Better safe than sorry ππΎπΎ
My cat of many years ago did the exact or similar thing that Sadie did. I always thought that she had ingested a bug. It happened so quickly and she never recovered. So happy that Sadie has recovered. Truly a Christmas miracle, hairbrain4
