That's a work of art! Whats her name? How does it sound?

I will see if there is a way to post a link to an audio recording, and if I with my tech unsaavy am able to do it Robert

That is beautiful. How does it play? I can't help but wonder if I could hear its memories in its sounds. What does it retain of the morning sun, the feel of summer rain slipping down its trunk, the birds that moved from branch to branch in its shelter. In a way, it seems an almost sacred instrument.

I am so impressed! My husband is a woodworker but I'm glad he never tried instruments. We have a bunch that we don't know how to play! Do you play? Did you make this for yourself or for a gift?

in reply to mrsmike9

I made it for myself and I do play although not nearly as well as before MS, but I still occasionally make awful noise on it... As the old joke goes guitarists spend 1/2 their time tuning and the other 1/2 playing out of tune.... But since foot drop I take it a step further and play out of time as well,( can't tap my foot anymore)

WOW! Stunning! We had a dead tree, but we had to pay someone to cut it down, remove the stump, and take everything to the dump! I like your result much better!

Thank you! Robert
