It saddens me that there is even a need to post this, but I want to urge everyone to be very careful in sharing any personal information here. On rare occasions, there have been people coming to this site who are only trying to get personal information, who do not have MS, and certainly do not have our good in mind.

Relationships are so important for us, and I encourage us to reach out to one another, especially now. But we must carefully vet those who contact us before sharing any info that may be used for malicious purposes.

Be cautious responding to those who have only recently joined, who don't share much in their profiles, or who ask personal questions of any kind. If they appear to be selling something, those posts are usually deleted, but we can't always catch all posts, and the community ambassadors to not have any access to personal messages here and do not monitor them.

If you think you have been contacted by anyone who is unsafe, please get in touch with HealthUnlocked from your home page, contact MyMSAA administrators, also whom are found on our home page.

I'm old, so handshaking will be a hard thing to give up. Our church members are all huggers, so that will be hard, too. My husband and I laugh while remembering a scene from Young Frankenstein in which Madeleine Kahn doesn't want to ruin her hair, dress, nails, etc, in preparation for a party. We touch elbows and say, "Taffeta, darling!"

I changed a few things in my profile I think that it gave too much about me. I was trying to be helpful on how people see me but I guess it let others in to try and take advantage of me. I hope everyone stays safe and vigilant.
