Difficult time falling asleep

I am having difficulty going to sleep. This past weekend on Friday I never fell asleep. I didn’t go to sleep the following day at 11am until 5:30

My question is

Is there anyone else having this problem? I sleep well once I fall to sleep. Does anyone take any thing to fall asleep, something to make me sleepy so I can go to sleep.

PLEASE HELP!

My dr thinks I have a problem with going 2 sleep but I dont, on average I'll have 6hr of sleep if that. I don't take anything for it but my dr tried to get me too

Try Melatonin...you can get it over the counter--not a narcotic. Works well for me, good luck.😴

I have sleeping problems also. I use melatonin and it helps me as well. Proper sleeping another issue of having MS.

Thank you! I get different respond one dr says it is associated to MS and another says no.

My research says it can be associated with MS

I’ve had trouble sleeping forever so I feel your pain! I take Melatonin nightly which helps me fall asleep. Doesn’t necessarily keep me asleep but it helps.

I take melatonin, magnesium and Lunesta 😴🥱

I take a combo, too because otherwise my body won't sleep. Definitely believe it is related to MS.

InsightTimer app. Lots of meditations, including some to help with sleep onset. On occasion, I have trouble going to sleep and I’ve tried this several times.

I can usually fall asleep ok but with in 1-2 hrs I am awaken by who knows what (light sleeper) then have trouble falling back to sleep. I’ve also noticed full moon cycle factors into it too.

Just be aware that melatonin only works for a percentage of people. Doesn't work for me and my doctor told me this.

I hope you are sleeping better now. When I can’t sleep, I can usually take a little diphenhydramine or doxylamine and sleep well . Those are both over the counter. I had no effects from melatonin, but many find it helpful. A call to your doctor may be in order if you find that you need frequent help.

Thank you! My problem is I don’t get sleepy. I really need something to make me sleepy. I sleep good most nights.

I take the doxylamine about 30-60 minutes before bed so that I feel sleepy enough to get to sleep, and I can usually stay asleep for most of the night, too. Sometimes it seems that if I do that for a few nights, it can help reset my sleep pattern.

I hope you can get some great sleep.
