Why is it that on the hottest day of the year (110 degrees) my central air decided to take a rest?!? Looks like it will be a really long weekend. Right now (4:15 pm) my thermostat is reading 83! Sorry...I don't mean to whine, just venting....& Sweating ...lol

Seems to always happen that way😟. Hope you get the A/C fixed soon, the heat and humidity is not our friend.

Oh, no! I’m sorry about that! Hope you can find creative ways to cool down until it’s fixed.

If we can't get it fixed soon, I will be moving into the Embassy Suites!🏰💼😀

😳 wow! I couldn’t handle that for very long at all. And my furbabies would have a heat stroke 🥵 Keep mine at 72 degrees and have ceiling fans in all rooms👍. Makes it seem cooler just moving the air😊. Good luck and hope you can get it fixed ASAP 🙏😉 Ken 🐾 🐾

I did this several years ago, when our central air went out: I went and got one of those cheap window units on sale at one of the big box hardware stores, put it in the bedroom window, and that worked out so well, I still have one today, even though we since got a new central air. It turns out to be well worth the price of the window unit, because I can keep the bedroom below zero (figuratively) in the hottest of days, and with the bedroom door open, it cools the whole house just enough most days, I don't have to fire up the big whole house which runs on dollars, not cents like the window unit. It's not too hot tonite, but humid, and in the upper 70's, closer to 80, and not getting cooler tonight. So that window unit is preparing my polar refuge for the night! And this money miser is perfectly happy.

I think up north has the right idea $150 for window cooler and at least survive and only the price of one night in hotel. Great idea 💡 ☺️😉
