However beautiful fireworks are, they are dangerous. We had them at my daughters wedding and the delight on Harry’s, that’s my grandson, face when he pressed the ignition switch, it was amazing. I know how much damage they can do. Fireworks have always been a part of my life with Guy Fawkes night or Bonfire night as we know it on November 5th, but they can be so dangerous if in the hands of someone totally irresponsible.

They have been doing off here for over a week. Our fireworks were cancelled for 4th of July due to the virus but from all the fireworks I heard last night, you wouldn't know they were cancelled! My poor dog.

Oh, the poor dogs.😥 we lost our beloved dog (Buddie) a few years back, but every May, June, July when the fireworks start, I am thankful that she is in "Doggie Heaven" away from all the noise. I hope your dog is better today...🐾

Our fireworks have been cancelled ( but by all the noise you couldn't tell ALL WEEK)

My friend has to give her dogs anti-anxiety meds. Have you asked your vet for anything yet?

She is doing good today, thanks. I'm sure there will be more fireworks tonight Hopefully nothing like last night.

I was over it b4 it even started 2 wks before the 4th they started then the 4th it was the smell cuz they were going off every 2 secs it ended the next day

All over California fireworks went off and sparked fires everywhere.

I have nothing against them but the irresponsibility involved in setting them off and the annoyance for the dogs.
