This is a QAYG lap size I made for DAV. I have one more in progress with some of the same colors. There's a lot of hand work on the back which I'm not find of cuz I need a thimble but they won't stay on my finger because I have nails that are longer than my finger & I don't want to cut my nails short.

Thanks. The carpenter star is easy, just don't do it as a QAYG unless you use dashing between blocks.

That is beautiful! It is very similar to a queen size one I made for my son and daughter-in-love which was in various colors of light greens, blues and white. Beautiful pattern!

I really like the carpenter's star pattern. It also easy to resize since it's just half-square triangles.

Oh, I am so sorry. That must be devastating not to be able to do something you love. Breaking my arm last summer gave a great appreciation of people who have lost the use of their limbs. My cast was up to my shoulder so I wasn't able to use that arm.

It does suck but I still collect fabric 😬 I’m almost embarrassed for the amount of fabric I have. I belong to a small quilt group and I share the wealth with them

If you have to have an addiction - a fabric addiction is the one to have. Fabrics make us feel good, when we feel good the stress level is down, the less stress the better. So fabrics are good for your health!

Actually I think they do. I know they have silicone ones.
