July 4th Quilt

I lost all motivation to sew for awhile, but finished this today. It’s for my darling husband. I still need to quilt it.

Wow! That is stunning, greaterexp What pattern did you use? Or is it an original?

It's called "Allegiance" from Fons and Porter. It is supposed to have one more border in cream, but I'm thinking about just binding it with the red and calling it good. What would you do?

It depends on whether it is big enough without the cream border. I like it without the cream border because it looks more masculine. But that is just my opinion.

I am probably the only quilter/sewer that has not cleared through all her UFO's during this time. I did a TON of masks for the VA and nothing else... OH, I did make a Patriotic Mug Rug for my MIL's July 5th Birthday the other day, haha!

Oh, jodigirl750 ! You should see the stack of UFOs in my fabric closet!. For some reason, they still sit there, while I continue to make more. I have just made three more quilt tops awaiting the trip out to my long arm, which will then need to be bound.
