Hibernating to avoid any possible contact and washing my hands alot as an extra precaution. If I did go out, I'd bring a tape measure with me and ask nearby persons "Hold this" (ie. the end of my tape measure) to verify that they were at least 6 feet away from me.
I'm doing the same things I did before COVID-19. I wash my hands, stay out of crowds, don't shake hands and give it all to God to worry about. No stressing about anything that I can't change allowed in my mind.
Have been hibernating. Today I had to go to the store for a few things. Didn't shake hands, stayed away from people. Consciously didn't touch my face (didn't realize how much I did that until this thing hit and everyone says not to touch your face). Back home, washed my hands.
I had been experiencing frequent anxiety attacks. We moved one med from pre-bedtime to supper time and that has made my evenings more relaxed. Funny that my husband and son are more worried about me and COVID-19 than I am. Been cleaning closets and things I never get around to.
Just living in the moment...to us, prayer is important...I like to take my car out for joy rides...slide open the sunroof...and blast my fav music...helps get sunshine and fresh air...my hubby and I sit out on the balcony or by the pool...we take walks...keep busy around the home or just focus on a hobby ...very thankful we share laughter...we understand the brevity of life....that anything can happen to anyone at anytime...therefore, we place our trust in God, come what may....thinking this way gives us a greater sense of peace...itβs good to get our minds off ourselves and on to otherβs needs...just taking it one day at a time...what else is there really?! π
