First infusion

Had my first Ocrevus infusion today! Things went fairly well. I had an itchy throat and itchy eyes for a while midway through the infusion, but the nurses had me take extra Benedryl and they slowed down the infusion for about half an hour then things calmed down and they cranked it back to normal (start to finish at center took approximately 5 hours).

Next one is in two weeks and now I know to take the larger dose of Benedryl rather than the minimum.

Pleased that it went well. I am not on Ocrevus but I notice from all the comments that people make that it’s good to be well hydrated, they start the day before and find the infusion goes easier. Hope the next one is even better and you eventually see some improvement. Blessings Jimeka 😊

Yay thats great! I go for my first full dose this month had same slight reaction and had increase of benedryl on first half dose and then was fine. Blessings
