Low back pain?

I am experiencing excruciating low back pain. I am one dose in on Ocrevus. Is or has anyone else experienced this pain? If so, what do or have you done to help with the pain?🤔

Do you feel it’s related to the Ocrevus? I’ve never heard anyone mention back pain as an issue with it. Your neurologist is aware of this, right?

Let us know what you find out about it and its cause.

I haven’t had back pain with O.

I have had lower back for years and recently I saw a pain Dr and he has me taking gabapentine. I was already on it for neuropathic itch twice a day and he just asked my neurologist to increase it to three times a day

Yes....low back pain and only take ibuprofen which doesn’t help much. Lasts for weeks

I have had lower back pain for years. Way before I started Ocrevus. It may be one of my first symptoms. It really only hurts when I move. The only other prescription med I take is Baclofen. I am also prescribed Amantadine but I don’t take it. I do smoke copious amounts of marijuana which either really helps with mood, spasms and pain or it just makes me not realize how miserable I really am. Either way it works for me.

Oh another thing that may have your back hurting is carrying around the burden of being a Redskins fan for so long. Haha.

I have not taken Ocrevus, however I experienced low back pain with Ampyra. Tried it twice with same results. It was listed as a possible side effect. Any connection- who knows?

Since I started Ampyra I have had increased lower back pain. I never put the two together. Glad you mentioned it. Thanks.

Redskinfan1977 I am about 3 yrs in on O and have had

no pain. Do you have the number of the O help line? You could call them.

I’ve experienced some increased back pain on O. I sleep with a pillow under my knees. I can’t really sleep in any position but I’m my back anyway but the pillow seems to help. I also have a 3” mattress topper on my already comfortable bed. Sleep is important to me as it feels like I never get it. The pillow has made enough of a difference that I’m back to at least 6 hours of sleep which is great for me.

I've been 2 years of Ocrevus and do have back pain. But I had back pain prior to starting Ocrevus.

I really can't say that it has gotten worse with the Ocrevus than it was before. I take it to be the fact I'm getting older.
